American Red Cross - Guam Chapter
The American Red Cross Guam Chapter helps all 19 villages in the territory of Guam prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. The chapter responds to numerous disasters including single family home fires, families displaced by flash floods, emergency messages for military personnel through the Service to Armed Forces program, pre-deployment briefings to service members and families, and more.
American Red Cross - Northern Mariana Islands Chapter
Saipan, Rota, Tinian and the Northern Islands
Chartered on October 8, 1978, the ARC-NMI Chapter maintains a 365-day-a-year Disaster Action Team (DAT) with trained individuals as “first responders” during time of need. They assess damage, provide immediate assistance with food, clothing and shelter and assist by providing contact with Red Cross trained mental health specialists and other community based social services agencies.
Boys & Girls Club of Maui
Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui's mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential to become productive, responsible and caring citizens. During those critical hours when school is out and youth are often left unsupervised, BGCM Clubhouses provide a safe and positive environment where youth can be themselves and participate in high quality programs. Our core programs teach youth the skills they need to cope with the adversities and negative influences whether it be housing and food insecurities, peer pressure or not having adequate support and supervision.
Child & Family Service - Programs on Hawaiʻi Island
Child & Family Service has provided services to Hawaiʻi's families for 125 years. They work to strengthen families and foster the healthy development of children. Their statewide support, counseling, and therapeutic programs help individuals and families heal from trauma, prevent abuse and neglect, and can break the cycle of generational poverty.
Friends of Kauaʻi Wildlife Refuges
Friends of Kauaʻi Wildlife Refuges (FKWR) serves as a nonprofit “Friends Group,” supporting the environmental and wildlife conservation, historic preservation and community education programs of the Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Complex, which includes Kīlauea Point NWR, Hanalei NWR and Hulēʻia NWR. FKWR fill in the gaps in the programs by providing funding and Friends Group staffing to support a variety of refuge priorities, supports environmental education programs, administers an annual scholarship and conducts community outreach.
Hawaiʻi Community Foundation - Maui Strong Fund
The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs for the people and places affected by the devastating Maui wildfires. HCF is working in close collaboration with state and county leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to get an understanding of the quickly evolving priorities.
Lānaʻi Kināʻole
Lānaʻi Kināʻole is a community-based, licensed non-profit home health care agency. Their mission is to advocate for skilled nursing delivery to the community, support with personal care focusing on individual preferences, preserving dignity, promoting quality care and health education.
Palau Red Cross Society
Palau Red Cross Society aims to serve the most vulnerable, alleviate human suffering, and contribute to the promotion of human dignity and peace. They are supporting communities in Palau to become more resilient to the impacts of disaster and climate change, promoting safe and healthy living conditions through community based health and first aid activities, and more.
Special Olympics - Molokai
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
